Having started as a trainee newspaper reporter in Falmouth, Cornwall, on the Falmouth Packet, Nicholas Coleridge contributed a dozen articles to Harpers & Queen from age 17-22. Nicholas then became Associate Editor of Tatler from 1979-82 (pre-Condé Nast ownership) during Tina Brown’s explosive Editorship, then a columnist for the Evening Standard from 1982-86 (Young Journalist of the Year, British Press Awards 1984), and then became Editor for Harpers & Queen 1986-89.
Nicholas joined Condé Nast in 1989 as Editorial Director, and was made Managing Director in 1991. In 1991, Nicholas was given the added responsibility of Vice-President Condé Nast International, and in 2005 was given further special responsibility for Condé Nast, India, a market which he still oversees, and in January 2009 responsibility for Condé Nast France was added to the remit.
Nicholas Coleridge was Chairman, British Fashion Council 1999 – 2004, overseeing London Fashion Week. And in 2003 he was Chairman, Fashion Rocks 2003, the rock and fashion event at the Royal Albert Hall which raised £1.3 million for the Prince’s Trust, and starred Robbie Williams, Beyonce, Bjork, Bryan Ferry, Duran Duran etc plus the world’s top 18 fashion designers – Tom Ford, Versace, Armani, Dior etc - and 160 supermodels.
Nicholas served as Chairman of the PPA from 2004 – October 2006. In 2003 was awarded the Mark Boxer Lifetime Achievement Award for Magazine Journalism 2003.
Nicholas Coleridge is the author of numerous books, including seven bestsellers – The Fashion Conspiracy (1984), the No 1 UK Bestseller; Paper Tigers (1991) – his world tour of the planet’s greatest newspaper proprietors; With Friends Like These (1997); Streetsmart (1994); Godchildren (2002) which reached No 2 in the London Fiction charts and A Much Married Man (2006). His latest novel, Deadly Sins was published in 2009.
Nicholas was born in 1957 and is married to Georgia Metcalfe. They have 3 sons and a daughter, and live in London and in Worcestershire.

Paul Keenan is Chief Executive of Bauer Media, a multi-platform media Group primarily in magazines and radio. Paul has worked in the Media industry for over 20 years. In 1992 he joined Emap’s B2B division, working on editorial and then publishing across a number of titles in the public sector, fashion and retail businesses. In 1997, he moved to the consumer magazine division to oversee Emap’s women’s magazine portfolio. He then became Managing Director of Emap Metro, with responsibility for titles such as Q, Smash Hits! and Empire. In 2000, he was appointed Chief Executive of Emap Digital, managing the development of the group’s global digital assets. Paul became Chief Executive of Emap Consumer Media in 2001, managing the company’s magazines and online assets in the UK, Australia and its licences internationally. Paul was asked to join the Board of Emap plc as a Director in 2005. Following the sale of Emap Consumer Media to Bauer Media Group in 2008, Paul has led the business in the same capacity. He has been a Board Director of the PPA (Periodical Press Association) for a number of years.
