I went to Publishing Expo relatively new to the industry, I came away informed and excited about its future

I didn't bother to attend the first day of the exhibition. On the second day I learned that this was a mistake. The seminars provided innumerable real, practicable ideas that I took back to work and implemented at the first opportunity.

The seminars were excellent. I wanted to see every session, with speakers from all over the publishing industry, from multi-national publishers to bespoke publishing companies.  The sessions were packed, showing a real appetite for information and advice on e-publishing, digital editions and magazine apps for i-Phones. I also valued the advice sessions on marketing approaches for online publishing and ways to increase ROI on online editions.

Attending Publishing Expo is very much flagged as a ‘must’ on the Planet Ink Ltd calendar as it is clearly the UK’s premier event in its field. Its growing size, diversity and ability to attract the leading names in print and digital alongside new innovators makes it well worth the journey down from Scotland for us. Not only are we able to ensure we keep on top of new trends, but get a chance to network with old friends and make valuable new contacts at the same time.

A great chance to compare lots of different solutions. A very worthwhile visit.

I attend Publishing Expo each year but found this year's exhibition superb. Long may it continue!

You can see everyone in one day and almost every stand was of use.

If you're serious about publishing you can't afford to miss this show. It is useful to meet existing contractors and I always meet interesting new suppliers with innovative products whilst gaining knowledge in seminars. I have attended for two consecutive years and will be there next year.

I found the seminars particularly informative, especially those which discussed the opportunities and advances with online publishing. These seminars proved to be very popular, judging by the turnout of those who attended them, as was the rest of the Expo. It was a good opportunity to also meet representatives at the forefront of the new technology which is shaping and leading the way for publishing in the future. The dates for next year are already in my diary!
